This is a curated calendar of programs, workshops, and events put on by other organizations in the Bay Area, and focused on outdoor experiences and nature education.I have chosen to highlight events that are open to all ages and generally appropriate for young children (a few may have a suggested or required age range).I have also tried to include plenty of free and low cost events, with a few select higher priced ticketed events I think might be valuable. Returning for its 17th time the festival is free family fun where you can learn all about beavers, citizen science, urban wildlife, community involvement, and how to combat drought, fire and global warming one beaver at a time.
