About the event

Join us for beach play and tide pool exploration! There is no cost for this field trip.

What to expect

We will meet at 9am, next to the bathrooms and ranger station at the parking lot. We will walk together down to the beach and tide pools. It's a short, beautiful hike (less than .5 miles) but does include two flights of stairs down to the beach. The tide will be lowest at the beginning, so we will get walking by 9:15. Let's see if we an spy some of the creatures we have been singing about!

Bring

Water shoes or rain boots are helpful for walking on the rocks. Don't forget a change of clothes, a towel, and snacks for a dry and comfortable ride home.

Getting there

801-831 N Lake St, Moss Beach, CA 94038, USA. I have always found parking easily in this parking lot, but if it's full you an park along the street also. There are bathrooms.
