About the event
Join us for a group outing to Tilden's Environmental Education Center for a "Fungus Fair"! From the event site: Celebrate the fruits of winter! View hundreds of local mushroom specimens, enjoy phenomenal vendors sharing their talents through fungi, mingle with the mycological community and enjoy presentations by guest speakers at this two-day special event.
We will meet at 10 and head into the park for an easy, stroller accessible hike (1.25 miles). Then we will explore the mushroom displays inside the nature center. We can also explore Little Farm, right next to the nature center! (If you decide to stay later, you can help them feed the animals at 3:30)
This field trip is free and open to friends and family. RSVP if you'd like to meet up and hike with the group, so we know to wait for you.
