Winter Solstice Lantern Walk
THIS EVENT IS CANCELED DUE TO RAIN. Join us to carry light in the darkness, and share songs for the season of longest nights. Materials are provided to make your own child-safe lantern.

About the event
This will be a special Children's Nature Circle event, and all are welcome to join!
We will meet on the south side lawn of Blue Heron Lake MAP . There is parking all along this meadow. We will gather at 4:30 and make child-safe lanterns together (materials are provided). Then at 5:00PM we'll walk with our lanterns. It will be a short walk around the bottom of the hill (half a mile round trip), so toddlers can go at their own pace. You can join in or listen as we share songs to celebrate the turning of the season.

The suggested cost is $25 per family. If the suggested cost is a barrier, please choose the reduced cost option of $18 per family. No family is turned away for lack of funds. Please contact me to request a free ticket for your family, no questions asked.
PLEASE NOTE: This event will cancel for rain. I love to play in the rain, but it would be too cold an uncomfortable at night, and we wouldn't be able to use our lanterns. I will make the call by 9am on Sunday 12/21. If I need to cancel, you will receive a refund.
